i know what it's like
i know what it’s like to be a pessimistic little freshman whose older sibling was on the tennis team too. i’m bringing this up because we had our tennis social today and there were two people whom i identified with: Shirley (Bernie’s sister) and Jessie (Nancy’s sister). i knew how they felt, not really wanting to be there and all negative and stuff. i have news for those...

what a horrible experience for this teacher. we really need to start coming up with internet privacy laws. and look at the comments; people are saying how she was dressing provocatively (which she was not) and leading them on. what the hell? it’s not her fault there were some goddamn horny boys taping her.
movies i really want to see again
Thumbsucker — it’s been awhile. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou — just ‘cause. About a Boy — i haven’t seen it in a long time and it was pretty good. i’d give it an A-/B+ Sleeping Beauty — don’t ask me why. Rushmore — it always cheers me up.
what's in a name?
Mom: how's "Er-voosh"?
Dad: you mean Urvashi?
what i'm watching this fall
Monday: nothing. i’m trying to pry myself away from 24. maybe, just maybe some Heroes (9/24) because my Veronica Mars girl, Kristen Bell, is on for thirteen episodes. Dancing with the Stars (9/24). i know, i know. it’s a reality TV show. but it’s decent. they had my husband Apolo Anton Ohno on! Tuesday: nothing, now that Veronica Mars got cancelled and Gilmore Girls is not...
what the FOX?
augh! the Emmys are on Fox, my least favorite network television station! and guess what’s worse. RYAN SEACREST is hosting it. W-T-H? he’s not even a comedian. this is just Fox trying to put their famous man on to get ratings and to bring in the younger viewers. i am utterly disgusted with Fox right now.
Brothers and Sisters →
new obsession: Brothers and Sisters. woah. it’s an amazing show. i cannot stop watching it. in fact, i’m writing this in between the online commercials. oh! it’s back on.

EcoZone TV →
okay, so i saw this awesome TV show at like 1:30 in the morning yesterday (today) and i was so excited about it. the host, Daisy Fuentes, and her team go to “celebrities’” houses and they make things more environmentally friendly. when they get wood, it’s sustainable wood — they don’t clear-cut the forests; they let the trees grow for nine years or something....

i saw this in my Anthro class and it was mind-blowing. i had no idea about the $7 billion that the Jamaican economy owes. how can they compete in the global economy?
i have a lot to get through.
this is basically WordPress simplified. cool beans. okay, so i’m going to finally start on the list of stuff i wanted to talk about. you know, the list i wrote in MAY. oh man. what’s the point of science if you can basically prove everything and nothing? movies i want to watch: Once — seems really cool though it’s not in most theaters so that’s lame. awesome...
