Rhiannosaurus on Milk →
“I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Milk was corny, inaccurate and poorly written. I actually found it terribly offensive because it portrayed the gay rights movement as driven (with only one exception) by men. Milk simply contributed to continuing tradition of leaving women out of the gay rights narrative.”
Thank you for reminding me I’m not special. You don’t even see what...

Being nice to someone you dislike doesn’t mean you’re fake. It means you’re mature enough to tolerate your dislike towards them.

muchas gracias to my Secret Santa!
Thanks, Amanda Rae, for all the work you put into making an AMAZING cornucopia of gifts! They are really cool (and delicious) and totally personal. I’m so grateful and happy. I couldn’t imagine a cooler present! Again, thanks for everything, including the stomach ache, which I got after eating three Captain Crunch treats in like ten minutes. Sooo good!

So there’s this Tumblr meetup
(From yosamanthrax.)
I’ve only met like three people from the internet. I’m sort of freaking out about my internet persona and having an anonymous place to vent and people from the real world knowing where it’s coming from and it not really being anonymous anymore, etc. Also, because I AM painfully shy when I meet new people, I’m also worried that I’ll just be a...

bah humbug
Argh. I did worse than I thought on my last Race/Class/Gender paper. What a big downer. I hope it doesn’t reflect in my final grade which should be coming out soon.
I really wish I tried harder in that class. I slacked off a lot after the midterm because Ethics was killing me and I was working on the YouTube video 24/7 for my Computers class and something had to give. I was also tired of...

SNL...not funny as usual
Wow, this show is even more horrible than I remember. Negative laughs.
exhausted
Last final is done! Made cookies with green and red sprinkles for my friends but a lot of people have left already. Jocelyn is still working in the library too so it’s kind of sad here. Mmm… I’m pretty delirious after five straight hours of intense studying, a final, baking cookies, and watching THE OFFICE. I have zero motivation to pack and clean. Ngghh. Tired. Probably the most...
harder, better, faster, stronger
I’m definitely on a high from finishing my final paper last night. This morning, I woke up singing Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger in my head and I started jumping all around my room. But the problem is, technically, I’m only 67% done with finals. I still have one left — one that I have to do mass studying for. I’m just so keyed up and like, “Christmaaas!”

passing notes
Guess what, guys. I’m in the library right now staring at this cute guy a few feet away from me and I’m doing everything I can to resist passing him a secret note…
A secret note that says, “STHU, a-hole. People are trying to work here.”
God.
Heritage 1981 →
If I could truly dress any way I want (think Lady Gaga), I would adorn myself with everything Heritage 1981. If only I had disposable income and no guilt for spending money on things vs. people. Bah!

fourth time
So I was eating dinner with two friends last week. (Yes, I do have friends other than Mari and Jocelyn!) One of them is a Soc major and I’ve been in two classes with her, Social Problems in the U.S. and Women & Men in the Workplace, both taught by Professor Dexheimer. But guess what I found out…
She’s planning on taking this professor for the fourth quarter in a row. I...
